ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Hey friends! Welcome to Girls’ Night!

I’m so excited about today’s episode. Today we’re talking all about friendship, specifically what we need to do to have deeper, more meaningful friendships.

Here's the thing... we have friends. There’s the girl from our church that we sometimes get coffee with, the girl who used to be in our small group that we see occasionally, the girl from work we got happy hour with that one time, the friend from high school that we’ve been meaning to call...

But a smattering of coffee dates just doesn’t feel the same as having a group of best girlfriends, right?

You guys have heard me say this a bazillion times: Life is so much better when we’re in it together.

It’s so much better when we have that group of best girlfriends—the ones you plan trips with, the ones at your house every Monday to watch the Bachelor (no judgment!), the ones you call in the middle of the night when you just need someone to pray for you.

But for a lot of us, we just don’t have that. We have people to go to coffee with occasionally, but we have no clue how to get past that point — how to go from skinny jeans friends to sweatpants friends. We have no clue how to find friends who feel more like family. We know we need them, we’re just not sure how to find them.

But that’s why I’m so excited about today’s episode.

Our guests for today’s episode are Jess Johnston & Amy Weatherly. Jess and Amy met online a few years ago and became really close friends. Since then, they’ve started an amazing online community called, Sister I Am With You, and are co-authors of a brand new book called,  I’ll Be There (But I’ll Be Wearing Sweatpants). ← which, might as well be my life slogan.

Their mission is to help women find their people, and I am so so excited for you to get to hear from them.
